About EngineeringTools

How EngineeringTools provides free, transparent mechanical engineering calculations.

A practical engineering toolkit

EngineeringTools provides ten browser-based calculators for preliminary mechanical analysis and education. Each calculator brings together its equation, input units, theoretical result, schematic, worked example and model limitations. There are no accounts, subscriptions or calculation APIs.

Transparent calculations

Calculation functions use SI units internally and explicit conversions at the interface. Inputs are checked for numerical and physical validity. Examples and automated tests accompany the formulas. These checks do not replace independent verification or professional design review.

Scope and authorship

This is an independently operated calculator project. No engineering license, professional certification, institutional affiliation or independent peer review is claimed. The operator must add accurate owner and contact details before a public launch.

Corrections and maintenance

If you identify an error, use the Contact page to check the available reporting channel. Include the calculator, input values and units, expected result, and a reproducible reference calculation. Dependencies and formulas should be reviewed periodically; the site is not guaranteed to remain current with design standards.
